It just reminds us all that you will reap the results if you sow the seeds. It's funny to see her and her husband, who are the same age, together. I will post the overall size when I have finished. This post gives the abstract and link to my Institution-Focussed Study, submitted towards my doctorate in education from the Institute of Education. Abstract This paper is about a project in a small nursery school to explore how a group of nursery nurses talked about the experiences which they thought were worthwhile for the children. With a practical focus of seeking to improve the quality of the nursery education, the project enabled the nursery nurses to have time to talk about and develop their own theories, rather than being trained in “best practice”. The participants then learnt how to use a research tool, the Target Child Observation, in order to look more closely at the children’s experiences, and on the basis of this closer looking they then came back together to talk about what they had found. The paper explores how these conditions enabled the nursery nurses to develop their ideas, and how changes resulted. A high degree of control was given to the participants: they alone were responsible for collecting and reporting on all of the data about the children.
The paper argues that the nursery nurses were able to use these opportunities for reflection and study to explore and critically re-examine their ideas and their practices. For three of the four participants, this led to observable changes in the ways that they talked about the children and their learning, The high degree of control given to the participants meant that they did not appear to feel exposed in a way that was unsettling to them, and that critical reflection did not damage relationships. Thought I'd pop in and show you some little treat bags made with the Echo Park Season's Greetings line! I still can't get enough of this line. It's just so cute! Wouldn't you agree? To create these, I just sewed paper together to form the pockets, then inserted a glassine bag inside. To create the shredded paper, I cut little strips and folded them back and forth. I don't have a shredder, so I just cut and folded a bunch at a time! You don't have to be precise with them at all. Insert some of these with a few pieces of candy. These are all papers, brads and stickers from the line! Ribbon is from my stash and the glassine bags are by Papertrey Ink. These went so fast, I can't wait to make them for the kids in my girls' classrooms this holiday!. Get the look. This weekend I smoked some reverse sear ribeyes, a few king crab legs and twice baked potatoes on the drum. Reverse searing is the method of smoking meat at a low temperature then searing it on a grill at a high heat to seal in the juices. Since the legs are cooked they just need to be heated through.
This time I put the legs on while still partially frozen.Along with his wife Jenny and Linda of Restyled Home, we created a beautiful photo shoot for Matthew's new Summer magazine featuring Stephanie Nielson of the Nie Nie Dialogues. Alice Lane, one of my favorite home decor stores, was the setting for the photo shoot. and it could not have been more perfect. Stephanie, along with her lovely sisters, sisters-in-law, and close friends were the stylish models. Deployed as an Alinskyite "change agent" to Chicago's South Side, Obama made the acquaintance of a redoubtable woman identified as "Sadie" in his first memoir, Dreams of My Father. Sadie is described as one of Obama's "staunchest supporters" during his street-level work in pursuing what he calls "redistributive change. " Sadie, like many other poor residents of Chicago's inner city, wanted to believe in the gospel of statist wealth redistribution, but was somewhat weary of the way her grievances were being leveraged by those in charge of Chicago's political spoils system. So it likely was with a mixture of affection and despair that Sadie informed the eager and youthful future president: "Ain't nothing gonna change, Mr. He's a favorite Doctor to many - I mean, how can you not respect a man confident enough to wear a vegetable on his lapel?
